Contribute to the Discography

There are a number of ways you can contribute to the Allegri Miserere Discography and we welcome any support or information you may be able to provide.

Information required to enhance discography entries

Entries tagged “Info Required” indicate where we would like to find missing or additional information. Some of the higher priority ones are:

  • Evidence showing the exact date(s) in March 1963 of the recording sessions for “Evensong for Ash Wednesday” at King’s College Chapel, Cambridge? One discogs reference suggests 19 – 21 March 1963 but we would like to validate this before confirming it into the entry.
  • Access to the recording made by Georgetown University Glee Club in 1958 (as listed here) or any further information about this recording.

Submit an original recording / video / book or other material

If you know of an original recording that is missing from the discography, please use our contact form here to let us know. Please read the definition of scope first, however if unsure, we would prefer you alert us to any possibilities even if we subsequently rule them out for inclusion. If you are aware of other relevant content, books or materials you feel would add value that we should reference or obtain for the archive please also let us know. We’ll acknowledge your contribution!

Share your personal experiences

Were you part of or associated with any of the recordings featured in the discography, or responsible for creating or conducting / directing them? We’d love to hear from you with any information you’d like to share. With your permission we’d add this to the relevant discography entry and perhaps include it in a blog post, and of course, we’ll acknowledge your contribution!

Help us correct errors / Report a problem

If you think you’ve found an error in any of our listings please use our contact form here to tell us. Equally if we’ve done something that you feel is wrong or inappropriate please also get in touch. The ethos of this project is to make information available widely and accurately without causing any problems for anyone. Where the Curator has shared a personal subjective rating of a Miserere recording, we will stand by it – so please do not ask us to change our view because you disagree.
